Choose Save to backpack if you want to save the tool to your private exploration backpack. If you choose Add to toolbox, the tool will appear in the practice section of your profile as a tool you're actively using in your practice.

If you're not using a tool yet, saving it to your backpack is a good reminder to figure out how to start using it in your practice.
